I've been writing and reading in the manner you will find on my blog for about 5 years now. I read (well actually listen to) about 100 audiobooks a year, and can write up to 5 journal entries a day. These journal entries will often turn into blog posts that you will find here. Sometimes a journal entry is 1 blog post, sometimes I cut them up so it ends up being more than 1, and other times more than 1 journal entries become 1 blog post.
